Taken last year

lovely warm summers evening and the fisherman just came in from a days catch
so saw the composition and just had to take the shot
this shot also has done very well in competitions
and is one of my favourites :)

This is a masterstroke shot (I don't know if it is the correct word, in these days I don't have the vocabulary so I use sometimes an internet translation).
But the point is that you have the ability of a great photographer!!!

Hi Phill,

A nice compo. The foreground contrast with the dark spots in between the stones is perhaps a bit harsh, compared to the nice sky. And the red in the buoy is slightly over-exposed. But overall a nice compo!

A breathtaking image indeed! i love the colours, tones and composition. I love the position of the basket, and also how the stones, basket and boat, all seem to take the eyes to the centre of the image. Also the yellowish red of the sky compliments the cool blue in the foreground. Thanks for sharing.
