Photographer’s Note
This is almost untouched native New Zealand forest which surrounds Mt.Ruapehu in a very middle of North Island. This road leads to a beautiful little lake. But forest itself is something incredible. there are a lot of different trees, ferns, bushes, flowers etc. If you come to New Zealand one day, take my advise and visit some forest site. It definitely worth to see.

Hello Dmitri ,
one more time , a picture from New Zealand gives me the feeling of Laurisilva in Canary Islands (with such ferns , too) . Very fine composition , with excellent management of light .
Bravo

Hi Dmitri
Fantastic! The way the path mianders through the forest, the bright yet natural colours are beautiful. A very good composition and framing.
Cheers

Hi Dmitri
This forest scenery certainly is very beautiful and I like how you have a typical fern dominating the foreground and the path drawing the eye to the background. You dealt with the filtered light nicely.

My first visit to Tongariro National Park was in 1996, when we studied mountain vegetation and birds with students. Since that time this is one of my favorite places. Great picture with good lighting and well-worked details
