Edessaios river's sources lie in an idyllic valley between Voras (Kaimaktsalan) and Vermio mountains, 10 km. approximately from the town of Edessa, near Vrytta village.
A fog-like effect near the bridge is caused because the water, been warmer than the environment, is evaporated.
