Photographer's Note
In the Italian Village section of Chicago there is a small Halal butcher shop. They receive a shipment of freshly slaughtered sheep and goat every two to three days early in the morning not long after dawn. I was out and about walking several mornings in the area and sneaked off a shot of the inside of the truck. I'm sure a few of y'all will find this one gross, but I find the forms created by the striations of fat and muscles on this pile of carcasses fascinating.

Hello Hubert,
I don't find the image gross. The carcasses look rather small after they have been skinned. I have some pictures posted of cow carcasses and they too look smaller ... I think mine look much less appealing. How do you like the 5D Mk II & kit lens? I'll be using this camera & lens for my next holiday. Regards. Latiff from Malaysia.

Not so pleasant to look at for some of us... but it's reality and quite normal for a lot of ppl in this world.
The colors are so strong!
