Photographer’s Note
Last weekend an exhibition of street art - Bazaart - took place, involving spray cans, stencils, and paint brushes. Here you see one of the artists sketching the face at the begining of his piece using a fat marker pen.
While I would like to show more of the artists, for many reasons most of them like to remain illusive, preferring to keep their identities secret. I am sure you will understand why.
If you would like to see more pictures from this event, please have a look at the associated theme.

This is excellent Casper - love the minimalism of it. Those eyes of the sketch really hold the attention.
One thing - a thin black border would have worked well here to separate the photo from the white border.
Good stuff.
Cheers,
Ben

Ciao Casper,
I do not feel like to write comment, this evening... but you need my support! And your photo deserve it :)
Personally I don't like much the portraits, and I prefer images that lead to a reflection, to a though, to a memory or a story, also an immaginary story like this... it seems that this figure is fixing its designer, disappointed for the expression that he is drawing... :)
Go on with the series!

Hello Casper,
A nice shot, very well processed with a perfect frame. The face is really curious... strange...
Have a nice evening

hi Casper,
I like this series of yours, it invites the viewer to stay with the image to focus on and figure out specific elements and I like that very much in a photo.
this one is intriguing, there's a kind of reference between the drawing and the artist (the glasses?), the crop and the selective focus are very well chosen and they place the accent on the artist's work.

that's it! you nailed it perfectly, casper... now you are talking about that exhibition...
i do like the way the white frame enhances the effect of highly contrasted black drawing and white wall...
best, j.

Casper,
I participated once in such simular event, it's actually not the easiest thing to do. With people behind your back, over your shoulders. Beside, I'm a slow painter, I can do quick sketches for fun, but I get too hung up on the details. Good thinking to show this one in black and white. I like it, bold and demands attentions.
Way.

hello Casper,
can't thin k why have responded to this one before as I like it a lot. Love the minimalism and the for me amusing staring round eyes. They are quite mesmerising and part of me wonders whether the artist is drawing a mirror image of himself (or at least how his inner self feels).
regards,
Bev

Hi Casper,
Lovely shot! Black and white really suits this image and the tight frame draws the attention to the drawing.
