Location: Seixal - at the old fishermen's neighbourhood

Hour: 21h10

Direction: Walking towards the bay

PP Work: used an aging photo colour and darkened the photo to give it this stranger mood of loneliness and abandonment

Motivation: making something different around Seixal's streets in B&W and at night with a darker mood.
1st in the serie some 4 more ready to be posted.

It's quite unusual to see night photo converted to black and white. The result is very good - it really feels like and old photo.

Greetings Paulo,

I like the mood you've captured in this image. You have certainly achieved 'loneliness and abandonment'. It is very interesting to me the way there seem to be 3 light sources but I can't tell from where the lights come. The only light I can see is the one above the buildings in the background. Is that a streetlight?? I love your low POV and the curved perspective of the street too. Both those elements add a sense of 'we're not supposed to be here'. Very well done. Thank you!

Bonjour Paulo,
une photo " à l'ancienne ", c'est bien vu et bien réalisé.
Malgré les éclairages faibles tu as su capturer le moindre photo et le mettre en valeur.
Une vue très nette et bien cadrée.

la façade éclairée dans le fond de la photo accentue la perspective déjà bien présente par les maisons, le virage sépia me fait penser a une photo ancienne du début du siècle.

Olá Paulo,
el aspecto oscuro y misterioso de esta toma, y el tratamiento en B/N con un toque sepia da un buen resultado gráfico a la foto, y también este efecto tan fuerte de soledad.
La ligera oscuridad del fondo, rota por la estrella del punto luminoso, aumenta esta sensación y la potencia visual de la composición.
Aunque ya sabes que soy un amante del color, tu trabajo me gusta.

Gosto muito desta fotografia, do ambiente soturno e misterioso. É fria, retratando uma rua pouco convidativa. Penso que o excelente POV se adapta perfeitamente ao clima pesado. Bela opção de tonalidade acinzentada.
