Photographer’s Note
Krasnaya Ploshchad lost its communist formality and cues of people waiting for giving the obligatory honor to Lenin in the mausoleum. The red stars at the Historical museum were replaced for Russian eagles from shining gold. The original state owned market GUM changed to a moder luxurious shopping center and its illumination brought life to the square. Krasnaya Ploshchad became a lively boulevard full of lights and people going out just to enjoy life. And the omnipresent police just supervises that the life enjoying does not exceed the generally adopted limits. Krasnaya Ploshchad became a moder center of a modern city.

Hello Michael,
Good composition! The figure of the artist/photographer provides a good sense of the scale of the square and buildings. Good reproduction of night lights.

Hi Michael,
nice night shot of GUM, good POV and resolution, informative notes.
I would suggest a few corrections in your notes -
1. Change "Krasnaya Ploshchad" to "Red Square", that name is more familiar and understandable for english-speaking people;
2. "The red starts" to "The red stars" - think it is just a typo.
To me, notes should be exact and correct because they represent photography and provide information to the people who is not familiar with the place or event.
Please, do not take my comments personally.
All the best,
Mike
