Clos Luce, Amboise, Leonardo da Vinci's Home, 1516-1519. Leonardo da Vinci was already sixty five years old. when he moved to this small house. In this charming manor house of Clos Luce, he happily continued to paint, sketch, and work as an engineer, architect, and festival organizer for the King Francois 1 court in Amboise. In the garden fragments of his work are hung up between the trees, creating a special atmosphere.
