Photographer’s Note
This is a portion of a 100-foot (30.48 meter) sculpture now located on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. The pole on which these walkers are perched is actually angled at a steep 75º, as shown in the image. I have posted a workshop showing a different perspective.
The sculpture, called "Walking To The Sky," was originally exhibited in Rockefeller Center in New York City. The artist, Jonathan Borofsky, says the piece was inspired by a story that Borofsky's father used to tell him when he was a child about a friendly giant who lived in the sky. In each tale, father and son would travel up to the sky to talk to the giant about what needed to be done for everyone back on earth.

Nice perspective. Only seeing the shape of these characters adds a sense of realism compared to your other more colorful picture of this scupture you posted in your workshop.
It wasn't there when I studied at CMU back in 2001-2002... good to see the campus again :-)

but what i love more is the way the artist inspired it...it's so sensitive to recall memories from your childhood and make them art!!!
