The fishing port of Scheveningen is the main base of the Duch fleet of the boats fishing herring in the North Sea! Here is the view of one of them, ready to leave port for open sea. Actually it is a small boat as the the fleet is concisting of much bigger boats owned today by large companies. But, as it happens all over the world, the small ones has much more character and feeling!

Καλές χρώμα & οξύτητα με την άριστη προοπτική. Συμπαθώ τη διαγώνιος strongg της βάρκας & της γραμμικής προοπτικής. Καλοψημένος!
Good colour & sharpness with excellent perspective. I like the strongg diagonal of the boat & the linear perspective.

Yes, I remeber this port very good, but it was raining when I was there, a few years ago. But you got a lovely light and wonderful colors here, george, this photo is very very rich in texture, light, colors and shapes. The tight frame is great, excellent.

Brand new colors next to rusty patches, nets and ropes hanging from everywhere, yet with a look of efficiency, You captured very well that character of the small ones.

You are right, George, these small ones have much more character and feeling, and this one is a proof. Great colours and details, good perspective and depth, this is another of you good ones, George!

Again colorful, sharp and well composed picture George. I do hardly hold myself not to jump in it.:)))
All the details are perfectly visible even the buildings in the background looks also very clear and sharp. And despite the wonderful colors here I do like the rusty parts most. (so strange eh?)
Well done George. Thanks for sharing...

What a bright light and colors you got in this tight crop, a joy for the eye. These boots are carrying indeed a lot of stories with them. Fine shot George.
