Très belle scène champêtre rarissime au Québec. Chanceuse ! Je comprends que dans les circonstances il a été difficile de choisir l'angle de prise de vue, si cela avait été possible il aurait été intéressant de prendre cette scène en cadrant le cheval et sa charette dans un angle différent, position 3/4 et de plus proche.

What a wonderful rural scene and so rare to see in Quebec, i.e. a horse hauling a hay wagon, didn't know there were still some. Considering the conditions you were in when you saw this scene, I understand that it was difficult to choose the right angle to shoot it, it would have been interesting if it had been possible to frame it in a different angle, looking at the horse and wagon from a 3/4 position and closer.

Nice capture Daniele. I like this pastoral scene a lot, but I do agree with Ninadev that a different angle, if possible, would have been a lot better.

La photo est super spéciale car ce n'est pas un tracteur qui tire la charrue mais un cheval, c'est quelque chose qu'on ne voit pas souvent. C'est ti avant ou après Baie-St-Paul?. Avant d'être à Montréal, j'ai demeuré 28 ans à 7ILes et je connais très bien Charlevoix.

I see from your posts that you have been around in many places. I wonder how come you dont have the US colored in your map. interesting.
anyway I really like the different shades of blue agains different shades of green. what a lovely composition...
the scene itself is also interesting . what is he carrying there?

How lucky you were to see this setting Daniele....this is probably the last place in Quebec that still harvests hay with this kind of old equipment.This is the kind of picture we usually only see in black and white because the equipment predates color photography:-)

Nice capture of a passing way of life. so nice to see simple and environmentally friendly technology still in use. Nice colours and a god composition for just stopping the car!
