Photographer’s Note

Eventhough there are many choices of hitech tools to work with rice field, in Indonesia the farmers still like to use buffalo to help them in work. First, machine is exspensive and need petrol to work while petrol is also expensive. By using buffalo they don't need to buy petrol and buffaloes never broke, flat tired and so on.

This one is having a rest after doing some hardwork.

Very impressive photograph. The animal looks real huge and massive ! The POV is excellent. Too bad the background is so sharp and contains details that disturb the attention: electrical line on the left and even the house which seems to be sitting right at the tip of the horn! Less DOF could help in such a case. Alternatively some post-processing could be done to fix this.

Good shot, and taken at a good moment when he turned its head towards you (you must have whistled...). I am not bothered by the Bground, but maybe you could have tried to crop less or frame more space around the animal.
