Photographer抯 Note
After an overnight stay at Te Anau I headed off in the dark to reach Milford Sound for a 9am cruise. It takes about 2 hours to drive. This was taken about 30 mins from Milford Sound just before going through the Homer Tunnel which is just around the bend. This was also my first sight of snow, being summer there is only snow on some of the peaks in the area.
The tunnel itself only allows for 1 lane of traffic and they have traffic lights set up with a wait of about 15mins to go through. Whilst waiting here you will find a bird called the Kea which loves to eat the rubber on your car. As soon as you stop they just seem to appear out of nowhere, they don't appear to frightened of humans and they just go about their business of ripping the rubber from around your windows. I got a couple of good shots and will probably post them on TN.

Hallo Jude!
What a sight! This landscape nearly is reminiscent of Norway.
You point of view leads the eyes skillfully to the background. A truly spectacular and fascinating place ...
Greetings from Germany - in early spring!

Hi Jude.
A pleasing shot of a road vanishing into mountains. It's well composed for balance and perspective and there's good detail in the sky. The various green tones look nice in combination with the greys and whites. A good sharp picture and a good note.
ASHL seems to be a new member; he/she must be doing something wrong, maybe using a very strange font or something. But I can't understand why he/she has given such a negative rating. Might also be due to misunderstanding.

Hi Jude,
I like a lot this kind of picture, with roads guiding our look to the background of the picture. The depth of field is excellent. The clouds top of the mountains create a nice atmosphere. TFS.

Hi Jude
A wonderful landscape (that I first believed norwegian) with a typically difficult weather but where you managed to get nice colors. The straight road gives a nice diagonal

Bonsoir Jude ,
Tr鑣 belle photo!
Amicalement

Hi Jude!
A really like this picture for its composition, pov, sharpness, colors and exposure! Placing a road in a frame is always a good idea and the result in this one is pretty adequate so the picture became pretty attractive and truly beautiful! Those impressive mountains look great in here!
TFS - Congratulations!
Best regards,
Neyvan
