Photographer’s Note
I was on a weekend trip to Chicago, popularly known as the city of sky scrappers. I happened to be on the 99th floor of Sears Tower on North Michigan Avenue in Chicago when i took this photograph. Like any other tourist i had actually gone to see the city from such an altitude but it turned out to be double o' heaven for me and a treat for my eyes. Not only did i see the city from "the top of the world" but the breath takingly beautiful sunset too and the marvellous transformation that the city went through as it was being gradually engulfed by darkness; and when lit up looking like a thousand glittering lamps. To me it seemed like a city of light for that moment.

Dear Kuntal, this photo is simply amazing, this endless cityscape resembles me a giant microchip. Congratulations to light management. TFS, Jalab

Hi Kuntal,
From the thumbnail, I thought it was a railway station, when I opened it, I though it was taken from the cockpit of an airplane about to land. It's indeed a fascinating photo, with a wonderful gradient of tones on the sky and an amazing pattern of lights below.
Regards, José.
