Photographer’s Note
One of the incredible things of the eternal nights of winter in the north of Norway is the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights. This photo was taken with 15 secs shutter while the lights were dancing in the sky - they are much more dynamic than any photo can show. Expect to post more of the same as winter approaches.

One of the better shots of the lights that I have seen on here. Very crisp, well done.

Oh my! I absolutely love this photograph.
Its crisp for the exposure of an object that moves.
I have yet to see the lights in real life. And just like the Cuttlefish and those Octopus that change to any colour. I had to see one in real life.
Amazing.
I look forward to seeing more of these photos throughout the season.
If possible, I would like a full sized image as a desktop background. It is very worthy.

Keep them coming, please. One of my life's ambitions is to see the aurora.

to be honest i think your previous photograph of the qurora waves was much better , even though it was taken from on top of the roof of a car :)
i think you're unlucky to have had so much light around you already which kind of flooded the film . i'm really looking forward to seeing auroras myself someday in my life, but ive always imagined myself to be in a lonely sopt with now articial lighting around me when see them
i hope the next time you're able to ifnd a secluded pot where you can get just the natural lights :)
also about the neat image....... hmmmmmmm i would really like to see the photograph with the grains as well. i dont know why people dont enjoy grains.
but then again, im a film lover .... :)
take care and hope to see more frmo you ( read in your profile that you've shifted to some very secluded place in norway, so im waiting.......... )

Hei Edvard
Virkelig stilig nordlysbilde. Bra kompo med lav plassering av horisonten, forgrunnen fungerer bra og balanserer fint med hovedmotivet. Nordlyseffekten er bare topp.

This is a beautifully clear shot of the lights. How fortunate you are to witness this and capture it on film. I am envious.

wow! superb capture of an amazing phenomenon, i hope to see more of them soon... have you managed to shoot more during the winter? the composition is very nice and balanced, and the length of time chosen seems to be ideal, was the sky really that color? beautiful!!

Edvard, I've heard about it in news in Michigan. i guess I have to travel about 8-9 hours north to get a sense of this light here. It is an amazing formation. Good one

Hi Edvard,
It's hard for me to believe that there is no themne for this stunning phenomenon, so I created one. I would love to see such a show in person. Wishing you health, love & Joy, Pat
