Welcome to Trek Earth Neil, an excellent first post.
Bala Lake is a place i have visited many times and your picture shows it off very well.
Maybe i would have just cropped a bit of the dark foreground and a bit of the sides to keep the shape, but very pleasing to the eye.

I love Wales and visit there very often, in fact I'm off to Penmachno again next week for a few days for some more shots to post on TE. A nice shot Neil well done!

Very nice. As somebody who lived in Chester and spent every holiday near Abersoch, I know this region. Great colours.
