Hi Colin;
Technically speaking- a great shot. But just a couple pointers to make this shot even better;
1.) The first is a level horizon. For shots such as this- having a level horizon is crucial. In this case- it could use a very slight clockwise rotation. Click this link for an easy fix that I use.
2.) Sharpening is best done AFTER the image is resized.
3.) The last thing is a small trick that works well for borders. To keep your image from blending with your border- add a small 2 pixel black (or other dark color) pinstripe before adding the white (in this case frame).
Hope these litte tips help to make your good shots- even better.
All the best,
- Dan

Hello Colin,
I say that this is a fantastic and perfest shot, composition is well done, with the lonely boat on the left and the horizon placed in the right mode.
Congratulation dear friend.
Best regards.

Hi Colin
Perfect composition with the boat standing in a strong compo. position., 1/3 sea, 2/3 sky.
Good sidelight warming the boat and the colors of the sky just gives an interesting touch to the overall composition.
A good one.
Charles
