A view northward over Heceta Head on the Oregon coast. The Heceta Head Lighthouse visible in this image is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world as evidenced as being one of the most photographed. It's light reaches more than 20 miles out to sea. It would be seen further if not for the curvature of the earth.
