Hi Gerard. This is a good picture of this strange temple, which always photographs well. It has been covered on TE before by Axiotea Chriasak and myself. I can't quite agree with your note that it represents contemporary Thai style ( Rama 9th) To me it is entirely eccentric and represents nothing more than the eccentricity of Churlumchai, its' designer financier and builder. To me it looks more like a confectionary creation (meringue) than a building of stone. However, yours is nice to photograph and your picture presents this odd structure very well. regards kevin

Hello Gerard,
A good composition of this lovely building, which seems as if it might have been constructed from icing sugar. I like the point of view and the contrasting tones and textures offered by the lawn. The reflection is a nice bonus.

Wooooow, Gerard, it look like snow - I love that temple.
I will be in Chiang Rai in April, I have to keep the name and I hope I will be able to visit this marvelous place also.

Une série impressionante sur la Thailande , que je découvre sur la tard. Cette constuction impressionante ne la déparera pas , avec ses lignes uniques et ses couleurs chaudes .
