Hi Santo,
I like that odd combination of navy ship and couple on the pier. Also downtown on the background is well placed. A shot full of summer feeling.

Caro Santo, this is a great shot of the old ship. Excellent idea including the young couple to give both interest and perspective. The sky is beautifully captured and everything so sharp. Great job, Lisa.

Hello Santo,
this ship looks familiar to me! :) Isn't it the one which is in the photo called "HMAS Castlemaine" - a separate post which impressed me so much some time ago?
This sunny scene looks very tranquil and filled with a relaxed mood (despite the presence of the battle ship which always reminds us about a war...).
Concerning the composition, I might make the couple (in the FG) and the ship more centered... but that's merely my opinion and perception :)
Kindest regards,
Elena

Ciao Santo,

Hello Santo,
Splendid Minesweeper, I was soldier, on a minesweeper 50 year ago.
The time for a beautiful capture like this one, and definitly one of the finest landscapes i´ve ever seen.
Real colour, perfect presentation.
I see the couple enjoy in foreground, excellent real eye catcher.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

A fine view of the harbour and city of Melbourne. The man of war at the right is an interesting focal point and with its length gives depth to the image. But the real smart trick is that couple in the fg. Beautiful light, very sharp and clear.

Ciao caro Santo,

Hello Santo,
With so much happening, I am all the more excited to be there, soon.
Williamstown looks almost entirely different on a sunny day compared to the evening on the last time I visited. I love the calm water, blue sky and well chosen FG couple, wonderfully composed. The photo quality is without question, again.
Cheers

J'aime la composition de cette photo, sa lumière et ses couleurs. Le couple du premier plan est bien placé pour introduire la vue sur le navire et sur le port.
Excellent !

Hi Santo.
I have a shot that is SO similar to this, it's uncanny, and I was only looking at it yesterday. But mine has both parties in a sitting position. Williamstown is a source of endless photo ops, isn't it. They've been on TE a few times! The Castlemaine and the city skyline make a fantastic background. Great sharpness in this one, and well placed young couple completely ignoring the vista in front of them. Nice note about the Autumn; two weeks till the footy, eh!

Andrew

Hello Santo,
Seems like spring is in the air!
Come to think of it, probably more like autumn, hehehe...
Whatever, the scene is spring like and well depicted, also with a good view to the ship in the back!

hello Santo
I wonder if you used tripod for this one? Very good clarity and sharpness in this capture of the waterfront. The couple at play in the FG is simply a great touch of photographer's POV. I tried to shoot harbor but could never come close to your standard here.
Although running out of smileys, I could not resist commenting on this one today. The depth is well done as the FG feature is as sharp as the vessel. The bright natural light of day is simply taken great advantage of in the best way that only you know best.
Now you see who the master is?

Hi santo.
It must be nice to be basking along the bank with view such as this - the couple is of no exception. Really good work with human interest in it. Well done and keep shooting and sharing.
Best regards,
Jusni
