Photographer’s Note

This is Santa Maria, the Santa Maria arch.

I took a few photo here but I saw that man. He was playing music (very nice music) and it was a lovely scene.

I used (again) the tripod and the wide lens. I was looking for a good night shot, but I thought: forget landscape, this man and the arch are really good. And then I shot.

I hope you like it.

PD: last Friday my car danced on the snow and went out the road (there was not important damage)

Hi Carlos,

impressive POV for taking the arch, I like it. The colors of it are excellent changing from red/brown to green then yellow and finally blue.

Hola coco, está muy buena esa composición con la cámara inclinada y los colores realmente se destacan acá.

Lo único que capaz hubiera estado bueno es que la parte de afuera del puente fuera más oscura no? de todas formas, eso no estaba en tus manos.

a powerful picture, the arches are a statement, printed in bold letters.

j'aime bien le choix du cadrage avec une belle mise ne valeur de ces arches. Les couleurs donnent une très belle ambiance et le personnage apporte un réel plus à l'ensemble. Bravo.

Hello Carlos,

Une image aux couleurs très intéressante et au cadrage très audacieux. J'aime bien ces teintes qui passe du jaune au rouge puis au vert et enfin au bleu. Le personnage donne de la vie à ta compo.

Hola Carlos, I like the angle which you have used here. The composition is excellent with the blurred figure in the corner. You've picked up some beautiful colours in the long exposure together with intersting details in the old architecture. Great job, Lisa.

Hi Carlos, it seems you have a thing for arches :-)
Beautiful, colorful one the one presented here, I don't like the blur in the face of the person, though. I know it is because of slow shutter speed, I cannot suggest an alternative except some ISO increase if this is applicable.
