Good head on shot of a wolf-spider, this sort do not build webs but stalk and jump onto prey.
The DOF could have been improved by using a slightly larger F/ No. eg F/5.6 which would of brought the rose stem just behind the spider into focus. Plus a slightly closer crop placing the stem into the corners.
I have worked up a WS. version before I noticed you hadnt allowed one to be posted,
