It is an impressive shot with great depth and a very good contrasted B&W. The amount of detail is fantastic and the fences created a strong composition. Well done.

I love snow, I wish I were in Canada or somewhere where it snowed or at least rained. Maybe it's the rain deprived Aussie in me that sees photos like this and fall in love?
I think it's excellent.
Fantastic effort

Hi Doug,
Love this shot with this great depth of field and detail brought out by the contrast of a black & white image. Awesome capture, great job. I think this image is a great accomplishment!

Hi Doug. Great composition with the wooden railings making good detail and providing depth and perspective. The mountain scenery makes the perfect backdrop also. Nice work and thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.

Hello Doug.
I like your title - very apt. It's a really racy sort of shot with tremendous perspective effect and a pleasing level of contrast. Very high quality wide angle picture, beautifully composed. I think the b/w works really well, making it a very striking picture.
Regards,
Andrew

Hi Doug,
"Canon EOS 5D Mk II, 17-40mm f/4L USM"...so you joined the "Dark Side":)
Isn`t that a wonderful camera? I have the same gear as you and I think it works really well.
The picture is very well done but please, don`t remind me of that movie!:) It was a nasty surprise for me and luckily I watched it alone, without my son because it might have been pretty embarassing to explain him certain things...
Cheers:)

Hello again!
Here's an impressive capture... the lines leading through the frame make for a striking composition. THe PP work is outstanding as always, making the image look ultra strong but never over or underexposed.
How does he do it :)

Great Capture.
I love the lines leading you into the picture and the tonal range is superb.
Perhaps a couple of cowboys walking into the distance might have improved things further ;o)
Nice work.
Graham
