Photographer’s Note
Seen while on a banca trip over Matnog river ("suba" in local lingo) with the Nipa palm plants as the backdrop of a man paddling an outrigger - the popular and chief mode of sea transport in coastal Philippines.

Hello Ramon,
I can see you have been visiting home turf recently!
And you capture this typical scene well... with film! I still have my 301, it is loaded but not used for some time hehehe!
Well done on post processing too...

Those are interesting looking plants! Nice to see your photo. If the boat is closer to camera, it will be more interesting i think.

Hi Ramon, nice! Well composed, the bangka is impressive, especially with the palms and reflections. Oh and of course, film is the best :)

this is a pastoral scene so well captured, framed and composed. i like the background green of nipa palms, they look so lively! it is a pity that you uploaded a small image though. but i commend the effort because not so many analogue uploaded fotos come out this great! grab the max 800 pixels next time, dude, ok?
cheers,
Benedict
