Photographer’s Note
Just got back from a stroll around the harbour trying to find a place to photograph tonights lunar eclipse. The early shots in the partial phase during twilight were the most pleasing. There was still enough light to get some foreground detail. You have to look closely to see the eclipsed area of the moon. I shot a few frames on film as well, but it will be days before they see developer.

wow you managed to get the ship details in such darkness!! I don't know anything about lunar eclipses but I am striving to get a good night picture with sufficient amount of detail (may be i should invest in a tripod? :)) pity it does not look that interesting on a thumbnail.
