Photographer’s Note
This shipwreck which is located in the small village of Bunbeg on the west coast of Co Donegal. Known locally as 'Bád Eddie'(Eddie's Boat), it has been situated on Magherclogher beach since the early 70s where it had run ashore due to rough seas.
Taken about 25 mins after sunset.
Thanks for looking
Gary

Dear Gary,
Beautiful and dramatic with the broken mast.
Is that a star in the left hand corner?
Or the (wide angled)moon?
cheers

Hi Gary,
shipwrecks always make for such attractive pictures... I dunno what there is to them but each time I find it quite engrossing. Yours is no exception to that especially with those interesting sunset colors for background.
All the best,
Philippe

A stunning composition and technical quality! I like the tone and the soft moody brightness very much. The fallen mast invokes a lot of imagination. Thanks for sharing...Alex

Atmosperic and beautiful...
I like the perspective and the contrasts. Especially the wild textures of the sand and boat versus the softness of the sky
This little, tine moon adds happiness to this melancholic scenery
Bravo!

Hello Gary,
A true McParland again! Wonderful work. Love it. The toning is strong, but at the same time feeling natural.
"Taken between 25 and 27 minutes after sunset", since that must have been a long exposure ;-). Nice with the little moon in it.
Greetings!
Dennis

Hi Gary,
I had seen many pictures of this boat but I couldn't find it when I was in Donegal last year :( One more nice picture of this place. The framing is good and the sunset colours are wonderful.

Quite a charming composition, with wonderful colours and a gorgious seascape. I love wrecks (and beaches too) and this one is enriched by the lovely dusk atmosphere. A great work.
My compliments,
Donato
