Photographer’s Note
Albania is a country filled with Mercedes. In fact, I've never seen so many Mercedes anywhere in my life! Unfortunately, a high percentage of these vehicles have been stolen (Germany and Italy seem to be the biggest "donors") and smuggled into the country...but I digress.
This photo was taken in one of the old quarters of the city of Berat. I just liked the juxtaposition of the traditional (donkeys) with the modern (Mercedes).
