Photographer’s Note
Baseball's spring training is in full swing in both Arizona and Florida which prompted me to take another look at some of my minor league photos from last year. The Clearwater Threshers played a series of games in Fort Myers mid April last year against the home town Miracle and this is one of my favorite batting shots from one of the games I photographed. The player in this photo is on a minor league team in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
Photo was taken with a 400mm f 2.8 Canon lens w/ 2.0 teleconverter. The only cropping was some wasted space above his head.
