Photographer’s Note
I was walking through a sculptor garden in Paris when storm clouds began to roll in. I had been there the day before and hadn't really noted this statue among the group, but it really stuck out in the stormy weather. The twisted tortured face and the arm seeming to shield him from the storm. A lot of emphasis was placed on the clouds as it seemed to be the perfect context for the statue.

Interesting statue!
Looks like it was a cloudy day. You could have framed this better so that the finger wasn't cut off a bit; or framed it so there was more focus on the face of the statue.
Try writing a note with your photo. TrekEarth is about learning about the world. You could tell us about the statue, where it is, and why you found it interesting.
Some information about the technique used to photograph it is also welcome. :)

I think the statue is of a man who tried to commit suicide by slashing his wrists, just because he did not like the smell from his armpits.

This statue is one of my favorites in the Jardin des Tuileries, and I know the feeling of how it can look on a stormy day. I like that you tried this interesting composition, though I agree with the other poster about the crop of the finger. I think it might help the photo to bring out some of the intensity of the clouds behind so that we get the feeling of what you felt - the presence and oppression of the storm. Thanks for sharing!
