Photographer’s Note

Last year i spent a few days in the rainforest in brazil for my work. Fortunately there was ample time to take some picture's, until now i just didn't have te time to process them, but here is the first one.

The Nut is the small kidney shaped thing at the bottom the pear shaped thing above is called the cashew apple and is also edible.

I've often eaten this nut - but never seen it in nature. An interesting photo, and plant as well. Thank you for showing!

HI JA, beautiful close-up here. The shallow DOF is just perfect and the colour tones so fresh and pin-sharp. An interesting shot that gives us a real taste of Brazil and her rainforests. TFS, Lisa.

Hello, Jan Arend -
Very colorful capture featuring the interesting shapes of these fruits. The background is visible but is sufficiently blurred so as not to be a distraction. Warm colors. The focus is a slight bit soft on the largest fruit, but it doesn't detract from the overall image. Well done.
