Photographer’s Note
The Great Mosque of Cordova, also known with the Spanish name "La Mezquita" is, in my opinion, one the beautifuliest building in the world. It was begun in approx. the year 600 as a Christian Visigothic church. In 711 the Muslims conquered Cordova and the church was confiscated and used as a mosque. In 784 the Emir Abd-ar-Rahman I started the remodeling to the actual shape. This took about 200 years. The building was recaptured by King Fernando III of Castile and it was reconsagrated a Christian church.
The surface of the building occupies more than 23.000 square meters and the impression you have when you are there is that you were in a forest of pillars and archs.
Inside the use of tripod is forbidden, so it is not easy to take a picture. Here in this area light comes from outside and it was possible to fotograph.

Hi Clemente,
You have done a good job of getting everything in focus, with excellent exposure. The vertical format works well here.

Una buena foto de la mezquita,te has centrado en el juego de arcos y cupula con un gran detalle de los mismos y sus magnificas filigranas.
Un saludo.
