Finnsjøen lake Photo

Photographer’s Note

Finnsjøen lake is a mountain lake (alt. 1260m) in Oppdal municipality east of Valley Drivdalen. It is only achievable on foot approx. (3/4 hour) from the road. Here is the good trout fishing.

Adjacent lake is the ancient pilgrimage route between Oslo and Trondheim (Nidaros)

Beautiful photo.
Incredable miror like water.
But is it a little bit tilted?

Hi Sigmund,

At first, I was also thinking that it was tilted. But you can only tell from the shore that is straight ahead of you. The shores at an angle do not need to be horizontal. As such, I don't think it is tilted.
i like it, though there is little to see in the foreground except from the one and a half rock. Still a good natural feel to it.

this is a good lake composition that you offer. Great mirror, we can turn the pic upside down and think the lake is the sky.
Good control of light and colors.
