Photographer’s Note
My final shot from my trip to Healy Dell in Rochdale, Lancashire last Saturday afternoon.
Unlike all of the other shots which I took in a wider perspective, I decided to focus in on one particular waterfall (the one shown in my last Healy Dell post) and make that the main focus of the shot.
Once again this was shot in shutter-priority mode to get the length of exposure I wanted on the ,which given the size and dominance of the water in the shot I shifted from 0.5s to 1s. The final image is an HDR Tone Mapping of my final 3 shots of the day.
Thanks once again for all your feedback so far on my Healy Dell series of shots, you'll be relieved to know that this is the last one for now! Please let me know what you think of this one, I do take all of your advice on board and will hopefully put some of it to the test the next time I'm out!
Cheers
Simon

Bonsoir Simon
une très belle gestion de la ongue exposition qui permet d'avoir ce genre d'effet sur l'eau. Belle ambiance et très beau contraste des couleurs.

This is a stunning photo. You have used HDR technique in the perfect way, not overdone. Did you use any Grad filters? The colors are popping out and the whole image seems correctly exposed, all the way up to the tiny water fall on the top-right corner. A job well-done!
