Westport Beach is situated about 6 miles north of Campbeltown on the beautiful Kintyre peninsula
picture taken from behind a notice board at about 3.50pm in the afternoon.
it was a fantastic sunny day at the time the picture was taken..
no filters where used and no editing except the resize

Hi Ricky,

Welcome to TE fellow Scot...

There is some quite nice cloud detail, but the image is just too underexposed. There is nothing you can do about this as any attempt to brighten it up will just way overexpose the sun. Your horizon is off a tad, though it may be barrel distortion - it's difficult to tell. Don't let this put you off. Keep posting and eventually you will get noticed. If you critique others photos, they will eventually come to you.
