Photographer’s Note
All too often ancient sites around the world are raided ... for gold, silver, jewelry or artifacts. The poorer the country, the more war scarred, or the more exotic it is, the more likely the ancient sites are to be robbed. This is one of the early tombs on Phnom Oudong (also known as Phnom Prah Reach Trap) - broken open in search for royal gold or treasure. All of the stupas in the Royal burial area appear to have evidence of raiding.
