That is a special present for those who have walked next to Gdansk Armoury, took photo of it, but never looked closer to the details;)
How would you show the greatness of your country in medevial times? Take a look on the left and this is one of the ways:)
Gdansk used to be Free City, with its own symbol of two lions, there were the tmes when Gdansk was even richer than Poland.

Siema Gosia!
Fajowskie lwy, troche smieszne, troche grozne. Jest ich troche w Gdansku, ale gdzie sa te, nie moge jakos skojarzyc. Fajne foto, ostrosc bardzo dobra.

hmmm.... interesujacy atrybut wielkosci Gdanska - szkoda, ze chociazby w czasie ostatniej wojny nie mial tyle szczescia co Krakow, niestety obecnie nie jest latwo doszukac sie az takich sladow wielkosci - no moze poza najwiekszym na swiecie gotyckiem ceglanym kosciolem :)
