Photographer’s Note

I'm glad to see my post yesterday inspired BennyV to post a photo from the same exhibition. It's truly an accomplishment of the organisation in Maaseik to get such a world class exhibition to a little city like theirs. This is the sort of exhibition one expects in London and Paris, and if in Belgium for sure Brussels.
But no, the terracotta army can now be visited in a church in Maaseik.

I posted a second photo of this exhibition to show the enormous diversity in the statues. They have different armor plates, different faces, different expressions, different poses, there are horses, chariots and more. If you're close to Maaseik or you have the opportunity to visit this exhibition on one of the next locations, don't think twice and just go! You won't regret it :-)
