I read about this situation and found it quite suprising. It is a good idea to talk about it.
I like how you composed the photo with those diagonals, making the tenderness graphic : )
Excellent contrasted grainy b&w.

Hi Isabel!
Not only your sweet dedication, but the image itself
fills me with much pleasure!
Well balanced compo for the bird's-eye view and cleverly
connected with the article about the Warrington station.
I really like the grainy tonality here that works great
with high contrast. I can't tell with certainty if the
person on our left is an official, but the fact that his
identity's obscured by the platform's sign makes it easier
for the photo to tell the story! Furthermore, the diagonal
lines create soome sort of cosiness that is
usually not attributed to big train stations.

PS. For the "No kissing allowed" sign at Warrington's - what can I say?!
Seems like some over here strive to cripple our culture
by importing yet another ludicrous idea from the US!

Fantástica tomada! Menina, você pega cada uma! Esta está impagável! O cartaz escondendo (pelo menos de nós) a visão do guarda e o beijo (que beijo!) escondido, com a notícia calhando... área "no-kissing"... essa foi demais!
"Uai a nazes"... só você mesmo para reescrever o nome de Guaianazes ;-) Considerando que a gente pronuncia 'e' como 'i'... aquele 'a' ali no meio, é claro que ele tem h e acento, né? Foi de propósito?

Well if Kissesa re not allowed on the platform, then its good to buy a ticket for a kiss.

o malhar do amor num canto ficou bem mostrado, apesar de oculto. Eu cortaria o guarda e a placa, me concentrando nas formas do vagão e no casal. bela opção pelo B&P, cena rápida e que diz muito sobre a vida em SP.

(bom saber que o problema não é só comigo...bom ou ruim..hehe)

Não tinbha visto essa aqui. Na verdade, como já havia comentado, estou pouco ativo aqui no TE. É uma poesia em imagem. O enquadramento está perfeito. Até o guarda com a cara cortada fica como um certo símbolo de uma certa intolerância ao casal apaixonado. Gostei muito do resultado visual e do contexto. Uma pena eu não poder participar dessa meeting no Rio para trocarmos algumas figurinhas.

I like this angled, furtive look at the kissers. they seem oblivious to time and space. and how the sign covers the face of the policeman (?) Brilliant.

Great stuff Isabela, so a small revolution is going in here, good! Brilliant composition with lots of graphic elements, high POV, lovely grain and b/w tonality, the light blur and the contrast give it an awsome mood.

Hi Isabel--There's a nice feeling of seclusion in this photo, of finding that hidden spot where, for just a moment, no one (except you and your camera, I guess!) will see them. I think the grain and blur add to that feeling. Maybe it's even a good thing that the sign blocks the face of the guard, because he distracts us less from the main subjects that way. Regards, Ken.

love the high contrast and the angle and especially how you can't see anyone's faces, adds to the mystery! great capture!
