The people of Saint-Quentin live amongst a stunning architectural heritage, declared to be a 'Ville d’Art' with a character all its own. The 13th century basilica dominates the town and was a popular shrine until 1914. The Town Hall's early 16th century façade conceals a superb Art Déco design within. In fact, there are fine examples of Art Déco all over the town. Walk around, look up and you’ll be amazed by the rich heritage 1920s-1930s. All over, Art Déco cohabits nicely with early Romanesque to flamboyant Gothic.
