So many people teased me with my Gargoyle shot without tripod that I decided to give up : I bought this damn tripod… Here it is : the first result of its use. Well, not a bad idea after all. I was able to take a decent two second exposure for the first time in my life...
This shot was taken yesterday night from the Bridge of the Bercy area. It’s a view of the “Très Grande Bibliothèque” alos called the “François Mitterand” Library a great monument built under Mitterand’s presidency. On the foreground, you can see the red glowing of the Batofar, a well known restaurant & trendy nightclub...

Bonne idée d'avoir photographié la bibliothèque du "tonton" au crépuscule avec le croissant de lune.
Très belles couleurs des reflets sur la Seine.
Une pose plus longue aurait transformé le fleuve en patinoire.
Good idea to have photographed the library of the "uncle" in the twilight with the crescent of the moon. Very beautiful colors of the reflections on the Seine. A longer installation would have transformed the river into skating rink.

Perfect lighting, very pleasant composition and fantastic colors Steven...Tripods are great but somebody has to carry them;-)...But we can not do without them for night shots:-)...

As sharp at it can be, and fantastic colors on these reflections on the water. Good thing there was that red boat, without it the impact would not be so great (colorwise). Well done.

I think we need to call this time of day 'The Curioso Hour' - this is just great. The sky is just glorious. The burn-in from the lights perfect.
The moon too!

it is a very nice nihg picture, very sharp and well exposed, it was the right time to take a picture - probably just after the sunset... I wonder how would the light look like if you increased the aperture... nice picture and the description is very good - good TE shot!

Absolument superbe !
La composition est excellente et l'exposition parfaite. Les fameuses "2 secondes" sont-elles devenues une règle depuis ce jour du trépied ?
Décidément je deviens fan :-)

What fine colors and reflections! Paris, the city of Light! That's true! I hope to be there once in my life! :)

This looks very nice. It has nice colours and the composition is good.
The only problem is the slight over exposure on the moon and one or two of the ligths.
