Hi Daniel,
The blue building seem very nice. I like its contrast against the other pale buildings around. Nice panoramic of this great city. With that many people I imagine is almost a nightmare to move around the city during busy hours :-) Nice work friend :-)

Hi Daniel,
I'm amazed by the information in your note....I didn't realise how big a city Jakarta was. I like the contrast between the old, small dwellings in the foreground and the tall, modern towers behind. Good clarity. Well done.
Cheers Grant

Hi Daniel
The blue of the building attracts our eye rightaway. Like the contrast with the tiled roofs at the bottom. Wish you had a clearer and bluer sky, which would have made this even better.
Best Regards

Hi Daniel! It is the point that gave you a important capture opposition of the first level with the small low houses, and the background with many roofs buildings! in the projection in the almost white sky strengthens the view and the impression of your picture, the central building has the interesting form and colour that assembles the attention us! Praise you

Hi Daniel,
Like Aadiil wrote, one way of seeing this photo is that is a documentary of the uneven distribution of wealth that plagues all the world but seems to be more apparent at the surface in some parts than in others. I used to see only this side and in many situations I still do that, but as a matter of fact I see some beauty in this mix of humble, almost rural neighbourhoods with "wealthy modernity" represented by those shiny sky scrapers.
It's a great photo indeed, it's only pity that the sky is so washed out, but that isn't your fault.
Regards, José.

Hello Daniel,
The skyline is well framed, and the contrast to the lowrise housing in front is awesome!
The image has a special mood because of this, and the details are well reproduced...
A balanced composition with a good feeling of depth!

Hi Daniel,
A strong contrast between the foreground and this city very modern. A very beautiful picture which I really appreciate the picture quality in both the light and in the soft colors. The blue tower draws the eye nicely. I love also your vertical picture giving a more prominent place in this beautiful sky. Well done Daniel and thank you for your note.
With all my friendships and soon

Hi Daniel,
I always hear and read that Jakarta was full with smog and noise, but it seems there are also clear days like you show us here. The architecrue is stunning with that building in the middle, looks very beautiful from here. But the contrast with the houses in front is also worth looking at...greater contrast is hardly possible....excellent pov and very good work in showing it like this.
Regards,
Henk

Jakarta has been depicted as a city with huge contrast of the metropolitan and the slum. I've seen many photos trying to capture this dichotomy, but your picture speaks loudly with social commentary. I like it that the skyscraper serves as a backdrop for the small houses it is almost surreal. Very beautiful work!
