Photographer's Note
Another historical landmark in Ilocos Norte is Cape Bojeador Lighthouse. It is the highest lighthouse in the Philippines above sea level (around 160 meters high; tower height = 16.3 meters) and is located in the town of Burgos.
Set majestically on a hill overlooking the South China Sea, it was built in 1892 and is still functioning now, serving ships passing by the northern part of South China Sea.
Built of locally made brick, the tower is octagonally-shaped and has an inner dimension of two meters and an exterior dimension of three and half meters.
One of the must-see landmarks when visiting Ilocos Norte province.

Hi alford!
I'm really surprised at the architecture in the philippines, reminds me of here in England, but with a twist. Great guidelines with the photo which is very striking, with its deep blue. Is this really the colour it was on the day? I tried a workshop... tell me what you think!
