Photographer’s Note

This was taken from the train travelling from Chur to St.Moritz and just before coming into the village of Filsur.
Again the weather was very good giving good contrast between the train and snow.

Hi Malcolm !
It is very attractive shot of Swiss Alps. Bright blue sky, snowy trees and mountains and cosy train were captured excelently.
All this is strong contrast with grey winter in Petersburg. We have not there sunny days almost all winter.

Nice view of this train in winter landscape. Interesting mix of red and blue wagons.

Excellent shot from the moving train. I love how you have captured the carriages as they emerge from the left corner. The red is striking and it makes a perfect lead-in. The light is good and the snow well-exposed. The snow on the trees is an attractive feature of the image.
