Since it happens to be Valentine day again, here an image showing how love can hide itself in the details of a house front, this one is in the historic center of Turckheim.

An interesting composition of this Valentine shutter. I rather like the rubber birds myself (perhaps storks?);-) Any way, very colourful and very apt with the predominant pinks.

Chacun y va de sa petite Valentine (je suppose que ta petite cigogne qui surveille son cœur s'appelle comme ça!). Dommage que le haut soit dans l'ombre, les tons de la maison et des géraniums sont si bien coordonnés!

Bonjour, Jean-Yves. Tu as raison, l'amour se manifeste par une série de détails, surtout dans la vie de tous les jours et pas seulement à la St Valentin ;o). Un détail bien coloré de cette façade alsacienne avec la petite touche typique.

Je serais un peu embêté pour poster ce genre de vue, dans ma Bretagne profonde, les cœurs sont sur les porte d'endroit beaucoup moins romantique (comme au fond de mon jardin par exemple!!)
