Photographer’s Note
Road Canyon is another small canyon with beautiful Anasazi ruins in Utah. These particular ruins take more effort to find than the Mule Canyon ruins I've photographed, but I think it's well worth it. PP here was pretty minimal - mainly curves and sharpening.
See if you can find the set of handprints on the ceiling near the ruins!!

Hi Essie,
Wow! This is a really good photo! You've captured the ruins and fallen roof well. I especially like the details and different textures in your photo and also the DOF. The composition is also good, with the ruins positioned to the right of the photo and the window facing left.
Not sure that I can spot the handprints though :(
Well captured!

hello Essie,
great shot, the huge rocks looks as if made of some shining metal, it certainly adds to the surreal mood of the place. fantastic textures, and I simply love the warm colours. excellent work, my compliments.
best,
Kristine

Ruins are interesting subjects. This rock above this one reminds me of the burning ceiling ruin. Nice.

Hi Essie,
This ruin was on my list on my last trip but after two days of hard rain I decided it wasn't a good idea to go there. I'm still hoping to do it on my next trip but for the time being I'm glad to see this shot. Those patterns on the rock are just incredible, a true work of (natural) art.
I like your composition with the off-center placement of the ruin and the fascinating rock pattern in the center.
Just like my namesake, I don't think I can spot the handprints though... ;o)
Good job, interesting subject - thanks for sharing!
Best wishes
Claudia
