Photographer’s Note

This was taken during a trip to South Africa while on route to the Kruger National Park. The original picture was not that clear and it was a cloudy day. This was shot in the vehicle while moving.

This is the first picture I that I have retouched that much. I know that this picture now looks unreal but I would like to get feedback please.

I will post the original picture in the workshop section.

the grass at the front looks a little blurry on account of the moving vehicle, but I really like this picture!

there's a good mix of colours and I really like the fields and hills in the background and the interesting clouds above. the road certainly adds to it as well.

there are a few spots where i can tell this picture was edited, such as the sky right above the hills, but if you want to salvage a picture that came out a bit blurry you gotta do what you gotta do!

A good depiction of a hillside winding road. The electric cables totally ruin the shot. Can be removed by using 'Wire Pilot Lite' (Freeware).

The colours are unreal, but add that dramatic effect to an otherwise bland shot.

Hi Mathieu!
It is unreal what photoshop or similar programs can do! I wouldn't have thought it was the same picture. I like the work you have done to bring out the details, however as you say it has become a bit unnatural...
