Conic hats at "Halong" earth land Photo

Photographer’s Note

Hoa Lu in Ninh Binh province also called the "earth land Halong Bay" ...

If you go to Hoa Lu, you will for sure take a small embarkation to go through the river along the hills... At the end of the trip where there is a small temple, the embarkation make U turn to go back... You can negotiate with them to continue along the river up to very small dam...
Stay there a while to relax and listen silence!

Whoa! I love this photo! Great job establishing a strong, dynamic foreground with the boat and women. Everything about this photo is interesting. I love how the mountains just fade out in the sky. Great shot!

Hello Raphael,
Beautiful classic compo - a more intimate view of Halong from the hinterland. The water is almost too bright (highlights are tricky aren't they?) but really a very nice job.

Hi Raphael, I've seen many photos of this region, but the composition here is special. Inclusion of the conical hat in the FG was a fine idea and well executed. Cheers, steve
