Photographer’s Note
Here is my best spot of havasu fall, with a 30 seconds exposure time. I had put tripod on water and be carefull to camera (D40 isn't sell as waterproof). You can clearly see here that water is blue/green. I promise there is no post process about color or other, just dust removal because it was 3 weeks of trip without cleaning sensor and f/22 who helped dust to be visible. It's, with the one I made at Antelope Canyon, from far the one I prefer from all those I made during my trip.

Bonjour Alexis,
Those colours are almost unreal, I'm sure someone who has never seen a picture of this location will think they were heavily post-processed. Amazing capture - I agree it's one of your best. The only thing I am not crazy about is the blurred clouds but that's just a minor issue.
Great job, thanks for sharing!
See you around,
Claudia

Coucou Alexis

Hi Alexis. Great shot; excellent exposure. Good, low pov to create depth and space. Impressive scenery too.

Hello Alexis!
The waterfalls look very nice and interesting!
The effects on the water (with slow shutter speed) are also pretty eye-catching, together with the colors of this image! Well chosen low pov and smart composition! It really pleases me!
TFS - Congratulations!
Warmest regards,

Olá Alexis,
Absolutely spectacular. The log, still in the foreground, absolutely makes this shot.
It adds grounding to the movement of the water which is captured beautifully with the slow shutter speed. The colours are deep and beautiful. Well done.
But I not appreciate the effect caused in the cloud
Best wishes,
Filipe

Hi Alexis,
Don't no if i like this pov more than the higher one, but at least it's spectacular and for sure a picture that you want once being down there. The colours are here more vibrant than the other one, also the light is much and much better, but the pov is less impressive...at least for me, but who am i ;-)
That 30 sec is a real tour du force because in this bright weather it's a real trick to get it to that. Colours are real, i know that from several other shots i have seen from that place. You did well here, i like the shot and your effort to go there....congrats..!!!

Henk

bonsoir,
vraiment magnifique cette chute et ces couleurs fantastiques...
tu as mis ton appareil à dure epreuve...
l'expo longue donne vraiment un effet superbe sur l'eau mais aussi dans le ciel avec ces nuages qui ont l'air de fuir.

Alexis,
This is a great long exposure. The long exposure gives the water a silky look. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The low POV works well here showing the height of the falls and giving the shot a nice sense of direction.

Good morning, Alexis.
It sure looks like an amazing location, one I haven't been able to visit yet but it sure is on my agenda. Havasu Falls are also featured in the movie Next, with Nicolas Cage and Jessica Biel, that where I've seen them the last time...
Now, the heavy slow shutter exposure and subsequent milky effect, although eye-catching in the opinion of other people, is not exactly my cup of tea, but that's a matter of personal taste. The important thing is : you've been there and came back with a fine shot! Have a good day, I'll be seing you.
Fulvio.

Hi Alexis,
long time I haven't seen your gallery, and now I see these wonderful falls! This is definitively the best of your series, with beautiful colors and a great technique which helped you to get this wonderful effect in the water and in the sky.
Beautiful!
have a nice day!
Rikk
