Sunset at Arches Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is absolutely one of the finest spots in Arches National Park : Delicate Arch Viewpoint. It's a 3 miles (4.8 km) round trip (2 to 3 hours).If you wait till after sunset to get back it can get really dark, but it is more than worth it.

Hello Djozz,

That's a quite classical picture of a classical place, but it is very good.
Your composition is quite perfect because you didn't crop the bottom of the arch as I saw it many times.
And colors are wonderful, in the sky but also on the rock.
I really like it. Congratulations.

Hi Djozz:

hahaha...I just commented on Fulvio's Delicate Arch picture, and now yours. What can I say, it caught my eye. This is beautifully composed, and the colors are very lovely. The light isn't particularly striking, but it's very soft and nice--I take it this was either right at sunset or the sun was partially behind a cloud? Anyway, what an excellent shot of this beautiful place. It's been over two years since I've been here--I need to get back to Utah. :)
