Photographer’s Note
I was in the world-renowned resort island of Boracay in the Philippines for a class reunion.
Walking by the beach at sunset, I heard the rythmic beating of drums. I found out later this was a daily evening ritual by the islanders, to thank the sun for shining on their island.
As the sun sank into the horizon, I waited until a boat positioned itself perfectly silhouetted against the golden sky.

Hello Ning,
There is a surreal aspect to this image, with the silhouette of the well-placed individuals and the sailing boat in the distance. The light management is very good, as are the colors and resolution. Warm regards,
Bulent
